Stephanie Horvath’s writing has appeared in Bennington Review, Poetry Northwest, Gulf Coast, and Denver Quarterly, among other journals. She also publishes under the name S. D. Horvath.

Her manuscript, Long Season, was selected as a finalist for the National Poetry Series, the Changes Press Bergman Book Prize, and the APR/Honickman First Book Prize. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from Indiana University and her PhD in English Literature & Creative Writing from the University of Southern California. She is currently a 2024-2026 Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University and is at work on a novel and a second manuscript of poetry.
